WARRANTY & RETURNS POLICY
At North Vic Parts, we are committed to supplying premium-quality components that have undergone extensive research, development, and real-world engine testing. Our warranty policy is designed to protect both our customers and our business, ensuring fairness, clarity, and confidence with every purchase.
Warranty Coverage
* Standard Parts:
North Vic Parts (NVP) provides a 12-month replacement warranty from the date of invoice on all parts excluding crankshafts and performance components.
* Crankshafts:
NVP crankshafts carry a 6-month replacement warranty from the date of invoice.
* Performance Parts:
Performance products are covered by a limited warranty and are not guaranteed to be legal or insurable for public road use.
The purchaser is responsible for confirming compliance with their insurer and relevant regulatory authorities.
*Excluding normal wear and tear
Installer Responsibilities
It is the installer’s responsibility to:
- Ensure all supplied parts are correct for the intended application.
- Confirm the dimensions match the original manufacturer’s specifications.
- Inspect all components for damage or defects prior to installation.
Failure to meet these requirements may void warranty eligibility.
Returns Policy
- All items (excluding items returned due to our error) must be returned unused, undamaged, in original packaging, and in resalable condition.
This includes being free from grease, fingerprints, tears, cuts, or any other marks.
A penalty fee may apply if items do not meet these criteria. - All credit returns must be freight pre-paid and may incur a handling/restocking fee.
- Buy-in items and custom-made parts are non-returnable.
Warranty Procedure
North Vic Parts must be notified prior to commencing any warranty-related work. A warranty form MUST be completed, and all parts must be returned back to us for inspection.
We reserve the right to inspect, repair, or replace any component deemed defective. Please note that warranties will only be given to the original purchaser stated on the invoice.
Warranty will be void if the component has been:
- Modified or altered from its supplied specifications.
- Damaged through abuse, improper installation, unsuitable operating conditions, insufficient maintenance, or continued use after a known defect.
- Used in performance or modified engine applications, including but not limited to street, drag, circuit, or racing environments.
- Used inconsistently with the manufacturer’s intended purpose.
Ownership of Goods
All supplied parts remain the property of North Vic Parts until payment is made in full and has fully cleared.
Australian Consumer Law Notice
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to:
- A replacement or refund for a major failure.
- Compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
- Repair or replacement if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
