Tech Tips: To diagnose a faulty "stretched" timing chain on a YD25: The engine will stall at idle after a short running time, disconnect the cam sensor (rear of head passenger side) start the engine & if it no longer stalls this is a clear indication of a faulty timing chain. a check engine light will appear on the dash whilst doing this
